On April 25th, the Shougang Group and Chery Group held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony. It was attended by Qiu Yinfu, Shougang Group Party Committee Deputy Secretary and General Manager, Zhu Guosen, Deputy General Manager, and Liu Jianhui, Party Committee Secretary of the joint-stock company; and Zhang Guozhong, Executive Vice General Manager of the Chery Group, Qi Shilong, Deputy General Manager, and Wang Ting, Assistant General Manager and Executive Director of the Procurement Center, as well as relevant department leaders from both parties.

The Shougang Group and Chery Group have long maintained a good cooperative relationship, actively practicing the requirements of national high-quality development and working together to create a mutually beneficial and win-win supply and procurement ecosystem covering steel products, R&D innovation and application technology, automotive parts, “dual carbon” fields, brand cooperation and marketing promotion, and finance. The two parties will take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to further strengthen their cooperative relationship, continuously deepen their friendship and jointly promote mutual benefit and win-win results while promoting green, low-carbon and high-quality development.

On behalf of the Shougang Group, Qiu Yinfu expressed his sincere gratitude to the Chery Group for its long-term trust and support. He then introduced Shougang’s development, saying that the signing of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement is another sublimation of the high degree of integration and cooperation between the two sides, which is of great significance to both Shougang and Chery. It is hoped that both sides will make breakthrough progress in their cooperation, work together to build a green supply chain and industrial chain ecosystem, and jointly make greater contributions to building a strong manufacturing country and a beautiful China.

Zhang Guozhong stated that both the Shougang Group and Chery Group have achieved remarkable results in their respective fields. In the current environment of accelerating the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, cross-industrial cooperation between the two parties is of great significance. It is hoped that the two parties will further broaden the scope of their cooperation, work together to promote high-quality industrial development, create a model of cooperation between the automobile industry and the steel industry, and go global together, winning recognition and respect from more international markets.

At the ceremony, Liu Jianhui and Qi Shilong signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
