At the recent "2019 National Brazing Steel & Tools Annual Meeting and the 30th Anniversary of the Founding of Association," the China Brazing Steel and Tools Association awarded Mr. Wang Zhusheng and Mr. Tang Weibing from Shougang Guiyang Special Steel Co., Ltd. with the Industrial Outstanding Contribution Award of 30-year China Brazing Steel and Tools.

Wang, since 1998, has led the technical team to tackle key technologies of high-quality hollow steel industrialization, focusing on innovation in material purity, external dimensions, core hole precision control, and rolling process and forming hollow steel material technology and complete set of products technology, which marks the upgrading of domestic hollow steel production technology and significantly improved the life of high-quality hollow steel products (tapered drill rods). He organized the research and development of steel for high-speed heavy-duty vehicle axles, participated in the formulation of the industry standard for "high-speed heavy-duty vehicle axle steels", and helped Shougang Guiyang Company's axle steels to obtain the German Siemens product certification and the French BV international railway industry standard (IRIS) certification, which has broken through the frontier of key technologies for the industrialization of steel for high-speed and heavy-duty locomotive and vehicle axles in China, and made the first domestic alternative import possible.

Tang has been engaging in the technical, quality and product development of brazing steel of Shougang Guiyang Company for 26 years. He has outstanding performance in the formulation of GB / T1301 "Hollow Steel for Rock Drill Rods," four national standards for the brazing tool industry, Shougang Guiyang Company’s GIII brazing process, research and development of railway tamping hammers, optimization and improvement of heavy-duty carburizing heat treatment process, and planning and design of the technological plane layout of steel drill tools of Shougang Guiyang Company, making positive contributions to the technological progress of Shougang Guiyang Company and China’s brazing steel and tools.
