2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shougang Co., Ltd. According to the requirements of the Plan for the Commemorative Activity of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of Shougang issued by the party committee of Shougang Co., Ltd, the Enterprise now begins a contest of the designing of the logo for the whole commemorative activity. The detailed information is as follows:

I. Logo theme

“Carry forward glorious traditions for a more prosperous Shougang”

II. Requirements for the participants

The staff of Shougang and the people and organizations from all walks of life that care and support the development of Shougang.

III. Requirements for the works

1. The logo should be closely related to the theme, which means to highlight the 100-year history of Shougang and its characteristics in the new era, reflect the cultural heritage of the centennial Shougang. It should be inspired morale, gather strength, be aesthetic, boast strong communication and visual impact and facilitate media use and promotion.

2. The formats of the electronic version of the works should be JPG and PDF (the resolution shall not be less than 300dpi). They can also be hand-painted. The specification of design paper should be A4. The works should be marked with clear and concise descriptions of the creation and meanings (300 words or less), and indicate the designer’s name, work unit and contact information.

3. The works should be clearly distinguished from the logos of the activities of other units. They must be original. The author shall be responsible for any infringement of copyright and other terms in the design and participation process.

4. No manuscript will be sent back to its designer. The ownership and modification and explanation rights of the winning works belong to the organizer, and the individuals who win the prizes shall not use or transfer the works at will. After the result is announced, the submitted works can be at the disposal of the organizer.

IV. The selection of the works

1. The organizing group of the commemorative activity of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shougang will select and solicit opinions for the collected works and decide the candidate works.

2. The leading group of the commemorative activity of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Shougang will evaluate the candidate works.

3. There are first, second and third prizes and appropriate rewards for the candidate works.
