BSIET Provides Technical Support Raw Material Yard Upgrade for Sichuan Desheng
Release Time:2025-02-14 15:50:58Recently, the environmental upgrade project of the sinter plant’s raw material yard at Sichuan Desheng Group Vanadium and Titanium Co Ltd., undertaken by Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (BSIET), has been fully completed and put into operation. The project has significantly improved the environmental performance of the yard, meeting the stringent ultra-low emission standards of the steel industry.
The sinter plant’s raw material yard had faced operational challenges for several years, including aging equipment, low intelligence, decentralized management, incomplete process flows, and high operating costs. To foster sustainable, high-quality development aligned with principles of “high-end, intelligent, and green” production, the company initiated this upgrade to enhance environmental conditions, modernize equipment, and achieve ultra-low emission targets. The project covered a wide range of improvements, including production process upgrades, intelligent system integration, yard enclosing for environmental protection, and associated auxiliary facilities.
Throughout the project’s preliminary stages, BSIET’s dedicated team specializing in raw material yard technology maintained a constant presence on the site, ensuring seamless and efficient collaboration with the client to formulating optimal processes and technological solutions. Following extensive research, discussion, and refinement, the team’s proposed design received full approval from the client. BSIET integrated several innovative technologies during the implementation, leveraging its extensive expertise and technological advantages in environmentally friendly raw material yard renovation. This involved the full integration and upgrade of both new and existing yard functions. The project successfully overcame challenges related to the enclosing of the new yard, achieving capabilities such as the unmanned operation of stacker reclaimers, unattended conveyor belt systems, a comprehensive all-weather monitoring system, and seamless interconnectivity throughout the conveying process. A notable innovation is the design and implementation of the “3-track + 2-unit” co-track technology for stacker reclaimers. The project successfully met the ultra-low emission targets and the intelligent upgrade of the raw material yard.
The successful completion and commissioning of the project expanded the structural span of the enclosed yard from 56 meters to a series covering 245 meters, added another achievement to BSIET’s portfolio of environmental renovation and intelligent upgrade projects for raw material yards in Southwest China.
