Shougang Zhixin Electromagnetic Material (Qian’an) (Shougang Zhixin for short) has received a certificate for its intellectual property compliance management system from a leading authority. This marks the company’s compliance with the newly released IP management system standard. As a key activity of Shougang Zhixin’s “Quality Month” initiative, the certification process has significantly enhanced the company’s IP management capabilities, improved its position as an IP leader, and provided robust support for continuous improvements in its technological innovation and core competitiveness.

Early in 2024, China released a new national standard, GB/T 29490-2023, “Enterprise Intellectual Property Compliance Management System – Requirements”, guiding enterprises in establishing sound IP management systems. Following the standard’s release, Shougang Zhixin proactively refined its internal management practices and submitted an application for certification in June. In early September, external experts conducted a comprehensive and rigorous audit of the company’s IP management system through document review and on-site inspection. The certification’s success and high praise provide strong support and preconditions for Shougang Zhixin’s future endeavors in creating, utilizing, protecting, and managing intellectual property.

Since its inception, Shougang Zhixin has prioritized IP protection and taken necessary measures, achieving remarkable results and receiving various honors. Recent recognitions include the title of “National Enterprise with Intellectual Property Advantages”, “Leader in Enterprise Standard Development of Hebei Province” and “National Leader in Enterprise Standard Development”, two awards at the 24th China Patent Award for Excellence, and one Hebei Patent Award for Excellence. Shougang Zhixin has secured six PCT international patents, demonstrating the advanced technology, quality, and competitive edge of its electrical steel products.

Taking the certification as a new starting point, Shougang Zhixin will focus on its goal of building a world-class model electrical steel factory.
